We often joke at Warwick Mill that we recruit for the long term. As the average length of service is over 16 years, you can understand why!
Sadly though for us, Christine, our afternoon receptionist, is relocating back to Preston to be nearer her family.
This means that we are looking for a new Administrative Assistant/Receptionist to join the Warwick Mill team.
The post will cover 20 hours a week, weekday afternoons 1-5pm with pay between £8 and £9 per hour.
The ideal candidate will provide a friendly and professional welcome for the tenants, meeting room users and other visitors to Warwick Mill, dealing with their enquiries effectively and efficiently.
The ability to work with computerised systems and to provide administrative support both to clients and to the management team will be essential. This will include the use of Microsoft Word and Excel. The role does require other computerised systems for which full training will be given.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day management of the Warwick Mill Business Centre suite of meeting rooms, ensuring that layouts and refreshments are correctly provided according to client’s needs and that any required stock is procured to maximise time and cost efficiencies.
Occasional additional hours will be required as is the ability to provide holiday cover for Ruth, our Centre Manager so flexibility is a must.
More than anything we want someone who will fit in and work effectively as part of our small team.
